The story of Estonian sport

Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum’s new permanent exhibition „The Story of Estonian Sport“ opened in 2020. The exhibition takes you on a trip across the history of sports in Estonia. It tells a story of a small speck of land and colossal wins. It tells a story of the glitter of gold medals, but also of the dark shadows of foul play. But most of all we hope this exhibition inspires visitors to write their own pages in the grand story of sport.

The exhibition features loads of interesting and never-before seen audio, video and photo materials and has numerous interactive attractions. Drive on some of the most legendary rally courses on iconic cars in a super-realistic rally simulator, co-comment for one of Estonia's most legendary sports commentator Tarmo Tiisler, see who has the fastest hands and coordination on a reaction training wall or try what it feels like to ride down an icy track at 100 km/h on a bobsleigh. All this and much more awaits at the Estonian Sports and Olympics Museum.

The X-Factor experience

In 2021, the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum opened its doors to a major temporary exhibition "X-Factor". The exhibition, created in cooperation with Red Bull and Simple Session, offers a closer look at dozens of extreme sports and shows how some of the disciplines are connected to Estonia.

Having conquered not only hearts and streets in the recent decades, but also the Olympics, the exciting world of extreme sports has made its way to the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum. From street sports like skateboarding and parkour to freestyle skiing and skydiving, the exhibition offers interesting stories about sports, various interactive opportunities to try some of these sports yourself, and, of course, displays inspiring items, led by Kelly Sildaru's equipment and bronze medal from the Beijing Olympics.
